The Bets of the Day is brought to you by NHL lines site Betway!
Welcome back to another edition of the Betway Bets of the day. All bets are for one unit unless otherwise noted.
Our first bet of the day will be taking David Pastrnak to take over 4.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -125.
He cashed this prop for us on Saturday and now, we’re going back to the well here today. He’s a volume machine averaging five shots on goal per game this season and has a great matchup in the Winter Classic today.
The Penguins, over their last five games, have given up 35.69 shots per hour, the third-worst rate in the league, so this is a great spot for Pastrnak to continue to fire the puck at will.
Our second bet of the day will be taking Pastrnak to score a goal. These odds sit at -112.
While giving up loads of shots as of late, they’re also allowing a ton of goals against per hour, too. In their last five they’ve allowed 3.97, the third-worst rate in the league. Let’s see if Pastrnak can find the back of the net.

Our third bet of the day will be taking Tony Deangelo to take over 2.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -125.
DeAngelo comes into this game averaging a shade under 2.5 shots on goal per game this year, but has cashed this prop in four of his last five games. His 19 shots over that time lead the Flyers, too.
He’s got a great matchup tonight to continue this trend against an Anaheim Ducks team allowing 43.33 shots per hour in all situations in their last five games, the worst rate in the league.
