Our first bet of the day will be taking Jason Robertson to take over 3.5 shots on goal. These odds sit at -143.

Robertson comes into this game hitting this prop in three of his last five games and in 29/48 on the season. His road and home splits for his shots on goal per game have been stark averaging 4.85 per game at home, and 3.4 on the road.

I love the matchup tonight for Robertson with the Buffalo Sabres coming to town, a team that has a perchance for giving up tons of shots on goal.

Our second bet of the day will be taking Johnny Gaudreau to score a goal. These odds sit at +200.

This season has been far from ideal for Gaudreau, who signed a monster seven-year deal to join the Blue Jackets of Columbus this offseason. He’s scored just 13 goals this season so far, but tonight, he makes his return to Calgary.

He’s a bit of a longshot to score any night, but why not lean into the narrative of him returning to where he got his NHL career started. I’m sure he’d love to find the back of the net tonight.
