The Edmonton Oilers took care of business last night at Rogers Place defeating the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-2. The win ended the Oilers two-game losing streak and elevated them to third in the Pacific Division, and four points from first place. Connor McDavid found the back of the net twice and Klim Kostin, Kailer Yamamoto, and Zach Hyman chipped in with goals.
What did you think of the Oilers last night? Join Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin at noon on The Nation Network YouTube channel and give them your thoughts on the game. On the show, the two of them will break down their three big takeaways from the game and also their thoughts on the Oilers’ newest player, Mattias Ekholm.
Also, the trade deadline is only days away and Ken Holland still has some money to play with. Could the Oilers acquire a forward on the right side? Should they be looking to add another defenseman? Or should they be looking to upgrade elsewhere? Tyler and Liam will talk about what’s still available on today’s show.
