After starting the week with a loss to the Boston Bruins, the Edmonton Oilers have managed to turn their fortunes around. On Wednesday, they defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 5-2 at Rogers Place and followed it up with a 6-3 win last night against the Winnipeg Jets. The Oilers held a comfortable 5-0 lead early in the third period, then allowed the Jets to come back a little. Despite that, Edmonton had themselves a good game and deserved the two points.
