The Edmonton Oilers closed out their January schedule with a 4-1 win over the Nashville Predators. With the win the Oilers push their win streak to 16 in a row and are now one away from tying the NHL record set by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1993.
Edmonton got themselves out to a 3-0 lead midway through the third period. The big boys came out to play with goals from Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (12), Leon Draisaitl (23), and Connor McDavid (20). The Predators got one back from Colton Sissions (13) but Zach Hyman (30) secured the win and push the Oilers close to the Vegas Golden Knights for second in the Pacific Division.
Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin are back together for today’s episode of Oilersnation Everyday. Head to the Oilersnation YouTube to interact with the two of them in the Charm Diamond Centre YouTube chat and leave your questions, comments and concerns in their throughout the show.
Today’s Sherwood Ford GIANT question is should the Edmonton Oilers trade Cody Ceci? The chart boys were out to get Tyler yesterday after he released an article on why the Oilers should keep the veteran defenceman. What do you think?
Later in the show, the guys will go over the weekend recap, especially the Detroit Lions game which broke Liam’s little heart. Along with that, they’ll recap Liam’s trip to Toronto and how excited he is to go back in three days.
