Tyler Yaremchuk is back on Oilersnation Everyday along with his co-host Liam Horrobin. Even without the Edmonton Oilers on the ice, it was an exciting weekend around the sports world and the two of them will recap what went down. Of course, we had game four of the Stanley Cup finals, which saw Vegas take a 3-1 lead, the Denver Nuggets did the same in the NBA Finals over the Miami Heat, and then Nick Taylor capped it all off with an incredible 72-foot putt to win the Canadian Open.
After that, they will move more into the Oilers talk and continue their player grading series. On Friday’s show, they covered Nick Bjugstad and discussed what it would take to bring him back. Today, they move on to #73 Vincent Descharnais. Descharnais was one of the surprises of the season for the Oilers, coming up later in the year and making a positive impact. Unfortunately, the playoffs did not go as well but he still had some moments. How would you grade Descharnais’ season?
Finally, the Columbus Blue Jackets had a busy past week filling out their blueline with Ivan Provorov and Damon Severson. While that is all good, they still need help down the middle. Well, last night the trade machine went for a spin and spat out a deal involving the Blue Jackets and the Calgary Flames.
