It’s finally an Edmonton Oilers game day!
The Edmonton Oilers will go head-to-head against the Dallas Stars at Rogers Place tonight. The Oilers will be looking for their third win of the season and second win in a row after being the Calgary Flames 5-2 in the Heritage Classic on Sunday. It has been a tough start to the season for the Oilers, but momentum seems to be in their favour now, as they take on another cup contender in the Stars.
On the other hand, the Stars have had a fantastic start to the season. They hold a 6-1-1 record, with their only regulation loss coming on at home versus the Toronto Maple Leafs. They immediately got back on track, beating the Columbus Blue Jackets and Flames this week. Roope Hintz and Jamie Benn lead the charge with three goals and eight points each. Jake Oettinger has been outstanding between the pipes in his six games with a 1.95 goals-against average and a 0.939 save percentage.
Taylor Baird from NHL Network will join Tyler and Liam at 12:30 pm. The three of them will break down the Stars and what their season has been like. Additionally, they will talk about the latest news from around the NHL.
