Oilersnation Everyday: McDavid Comes Through
Oct 28, 2022, 16:00 EDTUpdated: Oct 28, 2022, 16:50 EDT
Last night’s game in Chicago was a strange one, but the Edmonton Oilers managed to find a way. Leon Draisaitl fired home the game-winner with 48 seconds left to give Edmonton a 6-5 win for their third victory in a row. Zach Hyman, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and a hat trick from Connor McDavid provided the other goals on the night.
The biggest talking point from the game was a goal that did not count. Evander Kane’s goal in the second period was called back for goaltender interference, and Oilers fans are still confused about how this happened. The goal was initially called a good goal on the ice but then was overturned by the officials. The moment has led to many conversations in the city today.
As he does every Friday, Baggedmilk joined Oilersnation Everyday for the Bro Down. He spoke about that moment with Kane, how well Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has played this season and his overall thoughts from last night’s game.
Tyler Yaremchuk covers all of that and more on today’s edition of Oilersnation Everyday.
