The Edmonton Oilers hit the road tonight to begin their three game road. First up, they head into the United Centre to take on the Chicago Blackhawks, who are without Connor Bedard after he fractured his jaw over the weekend versus the New Jersey Devils.
Edmonton are the hottest team in the NHL right now and are currently riding a seven game win streak. They’ve climbed to five games over .500 and sit in the second wildcard spot behind the Nashville Predators. A win tonight wouldn’t put the Oilers head of the Predators but would close the cap to two points.
Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will get you set up for tonight’s versus the Blackhawks. If you have some thoughts you’d like Tyler and Liam to hear, leave your questions, comments and concerns in the Booster Juice YouTube live chat during the show.
Later in the show, former NHLer Colby Cohen will join Tyler and Liam. The three of them will talk about the Cutter Gauthier situation that went down last night. Colby is a former college player who would’ve gone through similar contract negotiations coming out of the NCAA. He’ll provide the insight of what that’s like along with his thoughts on the situation.
Towards the end, they will dive into the Wendy’s Daily Faceoff Survivor Pool game and also their game day Betway bets.
Viewers can catch Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on Oilersnation Everyday on the Oilersnation YouTube Channel. You can also view the show on Twitter and Facebook. After the show has streamed live, you can find it on all your podcast providers.
