Oilersnation Everyday: Looking for two in a row
Nov 10, 2022, 14:00 ESTUpdated: Nov 10, 2022, 13:58 EST
The Edmonton Oilers are looking for back-to-back wins tonight versus the Carolina Hurricanes. So far on their four-game road trip, the Oilers dropped a 5-4 decision to the Washington Capitals but then bounced back in a big way with a 3-2 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning. In that game, they got promising performances from Warren Foegele, who scored his first of the season, and Jack Campbell, who had arguably their best start in an Oilers jersey.
The task does not get much easier tonight heading into Raleigh. Carolina is coming back home after losing last night to the Florida Panthers. Could this be an opportunity for the Oilers to strike on a disappointed Canes team? Unfortunately, Edmonton will be without Evander Kane after he suffered an injury versus the Lightning the other night. With the extra cap space, Ken Holland was able to recall Klim Kostin and Mattias Janmark. We will talk about the impact they could have on the roster on the show.
Join us for the Sherwood Ford GIANT Pre-Game Show is Jay Downton. He will give us his take on the Oilers’ recent run, get you prepared for tonight’s action, and also give out some of his game day bets. You can expect all of that and more on today’s edition of Oilersnation Everyday with Tyler Yaremchuk.
