Well, it is safe to say the start to the season hasn’t gone as planned for the Edmonton Oilers. They are now sitting with a record of 1-2-0 following last night’s loss to the Buffalo Sabres. It wasn’t all doom and gloom for Edmonton who out-chanced the Sabres heavily. However, they are struggling to score goals and five-on-five and giving up too many grade-A chances. So what needs to change?

Joining the show, like he does every Wednesday, is Frank Seravalli from DailyFaceoff.com. He will talk about the Oilers’ recent run of form, give us an update from around the NHL and also fill us in on what happened at the NHL meetings this week.

Finally, at the end of the show, Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will give out their picks for tonight’s Wednesday night NHL slate. Whilst their Oilers picks have not been great, their picks for other teams around the league have been red hot.
