Rumours began to swirl yesterday when NHL insider Darren Dreger suggested the Edmonton Oilers are interested in Brett Pesce. Pesce is a right-shot defenceman from the Carolina Hurricanes and has one year left on his deal at $4,025 million, according to cap friendly. Should Pesce be an option for the Oilers? Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will discuss this on today’s show.
Also coming up on the show, Connor Halley from Oilersnation After Dark will join the guys. With Connor, they will discuss the Oilers off-season plans along with today’s player grade and the trade machine.
Coming up on today’s player grade is Ryan Nugent-Hopkins. The Nuge had a fantastic regular season scoring 100 points for the first time in his career. However, the playoffs did not go as well scoring only one goal before the Oilers were eliminated by the Vegas Golden Knights, the eventually Stanley Cup champions. How would you grade Nugent-Hopkins? Leave your thoughts in the live chat during today’s show.
Then, of course, they will round out the show with their Betway picks for the weekend.
Viewers can catch Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on Oilersnation Everyday on the Oilersnation YouTube Channel. You can also view the show on Twitter and Facebook. After the show has streamed live, you can find it on all your podcast providers.
