The Edmonton Oilers had a fantastic opportunity last night to take a 2-1 lead in the Western Conference Final. Edmonton dominated the first period with goals from Zach Hyman and Connor McDavid. However, the Dallas Stars turned it up a gear in the second period while the Oilers stayed in neutral. Three quick goals gave Dallas the lead but, luckily for the Oilers, Adam Henrique tied the game with less than a minute to play in the frame. Unfortunately from an Oilers standpoint, Jason Robertson completed his hat trick giving Dallas the win and their first series lead.
There’s lots to discuss from last night’s game, so Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin go live for Oilersnation Everyday at noon. Want your thoughts on the show? Leave your questions, comments, and concerns in the Charm Diamond Centres YouTube live chat throughout the program. Tyler and Liam strongly encourage you to interact with them during the show.
The first guest on today’s show is former Edmonton Oiler and Dallas Stars defenceman Jason Demers. With Demers, they’ll be talking about what has happened in the first three games of this series and why the Stars have a lead. Additionally, Demers will give his thoughts on Darnell Nurse, the Oilers’ goaltending and how they can get back in the series.
Later in the program, Luke Gazdic from Sportsnet joins Tyler and Liam. With Gazdic, they’ll get his thoughts on last night’s game and how everything broke down for the Oilers.
Viewers can catch Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on Oilersnation Everyday on the Oilersnation YouTube Channel. You can also view the show on Twitter and Facebook. After the show has streamed live, you can find it on all your podcast providers.
