The Edmonton Oilers and general manager Ken Holland agreed to mutually part ways this morning. It had been rumoured for a while that the future of Holland was in jeopardy but today it was made official.
After five seasons, Holland helped guide the Oilers to five straight playoff appearances and was one win away from winning the Stanley Cup. With that said, how would you grade his tenure as the Oilers general manager? Do you give him a passing grade despite not winning the Cup?
Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will dive into the Holland news and more on Oilersnation Everyday. They’ll go live on the Oilersnation YouTube channel along with the recent of the Oilersnation social media channels. Want your thoughts on the show? Leave your questions, comments and concerns in the Charm Diamond Centres YouTube live chat throughout the program. Tyler and Liam strongly encourage you to interact with them on the show and the rest of the Nation Citizens in the chat.
Frank Seravalli will join the guys on the show today too. With Frank, they’ll talk about the Holland departure and who could be in the running to take his spot. Additionally, they’ll chat about free agency and where the Oilers could shop this summer.
