The Edmonton Oilers prospects are all wrapped up in Penticton, British Colombia, in what was a fun weekend of watching the future. The youngsters did a good job finishing 1-1-1 at the tournament but unfortunately could not away with the victory in the final game versus the Vancouver Canucks, losing 5-2.

With the NHL Young Stars now behind us, the Oilers training camp begins tomorrow. The team’s first game is this Sunday versus the Winnipeg Jets at Rogers Place. On today’s show, Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin will give a brief recap of what went down in Penticton before moving onto the news right here in Oil Country.

Also on the show, it was a wild week in the NHL with the big news coming out of Columbus.
