The Edmonton Oilers were back on home ice for the first time since before the NHL’s All-Star break last night. While it was an entertaining game, the final score resulted in the Oilers only coming away with one point rather than two. After a poor first period in the defensive zone, which saw them down 2-0, Edmonton had to claw their way back into the game. How did you feel about last night’s game? Let us know during today’s live show on The Nation Network YouTube channel.
With that, Tyler Yaremchuk will break down everything that happened at Rogers Place last night. Was Jack Campbell good enough? Is the penalty kill falling back into its old ways? Are the Oilers worse when they play 12 and 6? Tyler will talk about all of that and more during his evaluation of the game.
Other big news that could come out during today’s show is the waiver wire update. Eventually, the Oilers will have to activate Kailer Yamamoto from the LTIR. Could that be today? If so, Tyler will talk about it as the news breaks at noon.
Finally, the trade talk will continue on today’s show, with the trade deadline getting closer and closer.
Viewers can catch Tyler Yaremchuk and Liam Horrobin on Oilersnation Everyday at noon mountain on The Nation Network YouTube page. You can also view the show on Twitter and Facebook. After the show has streamed live, you can find it on all your podcast provide.
