There have not been very many nights this season where you could say that the @Edmonton Oilers played bad. On Tuesday night in @San Jose Sharks, they were flat out bad. From the goaltender on out, they did not bring it whatsoever. Tonight the team returns from their brief California road trip and will host a Colorado Avalanche team that is continuing to rack up wins despite the fact that they’re missing two of their best players and their starting goaltender.

Some interesting lineup notes for this game from an Oilers perspective as well including who Dave Tippett is opting to go with between the pipes. This is a crucial stretch for the Oilers as they look to hold onto the top spot in the Pacific Division. Seven of the teams next eight games come against opponents that either made the playoffs last year or are currently holding a playoff spot in the West.
