Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton vs Los Angeles

Oct 5, 2019, 14:00 EDTUpdated: Oct 5, 2019, 13:23 EDT
The Oilers will look to improve to 2-0 tonight as they host the @Los Angeles Kings. There are no shortage of storylines heading into this one.
Recently, the Oilers have dominated the Kings on home ice, winning five of their last six matchups from Rogers Place but there are some interesting factors heading into tonight’s game. The Oilers begin life without Adam Larsson, who will be sidelined for 6-8 weeks with a fractured fibula, and will be looking for big contributions from the likes of @Ethan Bear, @Matt Benning, and @Joel Persson, who is set to make his NHL debut tonight. This will also be the return of former Head Coach Todd McLellan who was hired by the LA Kings this summer. Apart from the coaching change, it was a quiet summer for the Kings organization which was surprising considering the fact that they finished dead last in the Pacific Division last season. The Kings are also one of just two NHL teams who haven’t played a game yet this season.
Also, don’t forget that next Saturday is The Oilersnation Season Launch Party! Going to be a great time at the CBH so grab your tickets now!
I covered all of that and more in the second edition of the ‘Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast’. It’s 20 minutes of pure Oilers talk from line combos, locker room audio, and stats to get you set for tonight’s game.
