Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton Oilers vs LA Kings

Dec 6, 2019, 16:00 ESTUpdated: Dec 6, 2019, 14:40 EST
For the first time this season, the @Edmonton Oilers are not sitting in first place in the Pacific Division. They lost a game to one of the worst teams in the NHL earlier this week and now, they’ll be given a chance to bounce back against another bottom-feeder: the LA Kings. Not only do the Kings sit 29th in the NHL in wins, but they’re also dead last when it comes to road wins with a record of 2-10-1. They’ve lost two in a row coming into tonight’s game as well.
There is no such thing as a guaranteed win night with the 2019-20 Edmonton Oilers. They’ve lost ‘gimme games’ to Minnesota, Detroit, Ottawa, and Los Angeles already this season and tonight is no different than those games. The Oilers should be highly motivated tonight and their opponent is not very good. This is a game they NEED to win if they want to be a playoff team.
Plenty of interesting line-up notes ahead of tonight’s game due to the fact that they have some key players out with injuries. Also an interesting decision between the pipes with both goalies struggling right now. I broke it all down in today’s Pre Game Podcast (pres. by YEG Burger)! Download it now!
