After dropping a tough <a href="https://publish.oilersnation.com/2019/10/20/game-recap-9-0-edmonton-oilers-at-winnipeg-jets/">1-0 shootout decision</a> to the @Winnipeg Jets on Sunday night, they wrap up their two-game road trip <a href="https://publish.oilersnation.com/2019/10/22/game-preview-10-0-edmonton-oilers-at-minnesota-wild-6pm-snoil/">tonight in Minnesota</a>.</p>

<p>While the Oilers have been enjoying a really good run to start the season, the Wild have been one of the biggest disappointments in the NHL. They&#8217;re 2-6-0 and currently sit dead-last in the Western Conference. They are coming off a win over the @Montreal Canadiens and as is usually the case, a struggling team that is playing in front of their home crowd is often a very motivated group. This is a game that the Oilers should win but they absolutely need to come out of the gates strong. Historically, the Oilers have a tendency to play down to their opponents. Tonight, I&#8217;ll be looking for them to show a bit of killer instinct against a rather weak opponent.</p>
<p>I went through how these two teams match up against each other, three things I&#8217;m looking for from the Oilers, and gave my &#8216;Bet of the Game&#8217; which is a segment that might be re-named to &#8216;Fade Yaremchuk&#8217; if I don&#8217;t start nailing some of these bets.</p>
