Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton Oilers vs New Jersey Devils

Oct 10, 2019, 16:00 EDTUpdated: Oct 10, 2019, 15:49 EDT
After kicking off their road-trip with a win over the New York Islanders, the @Edmonton Oilers will look to improve to 4-0 on the season as they roll into the Prudential Center to take on @Taylor Hall and the @New Jersey Devils.
Everything seems to be going right for the Oilers right now. Their getting scoring from players not named @Connor McDavid and @Leon Draisait (big shoutout to ‘The Real Deal @James Neal’), the goaltending is holding up, and their penalty kill and powerplay are both top ten in the NHL through three games. On the other side, things have not been going well for the New Jersey Devils. They had a busy summer, adding @Jack Hughes, @Nikita Gusev, @Wayne Simmonds, and PK Subban to a roster that already had Taylor Hall and @Nico Hischier but the results haven’t come yet. Through three games, the Devils are 0-2-1 and are in tough tonight considering they got shutout last night in Philadelphia and will be playing one of the hottest offences in the NHL.
I get to all of that and more in today’s Pre-Game Podcast, presented by YEG Burger, which you can download right here directly to your device or by heading to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Soundcloud, or Google Podcasts!
