Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast – Edmonton Oilers vs San Jose Sharks

Feb 6, 2020, 16:00 ESTUpdated: Feb 6, 2020, 15:30 EST
The @Edmonton Oilers will look to bounce back from their loss in the desert as they welcome the @San Jose Sharks to Ice District for a Pacific Division showdown. In the past, this is a matchup that would have Oilersnation nervous. The Sharks have been a Cup contender for the last decade but this year has been a very different story. They currently sit 13th in the Western Conference and have the worst goal differential in the conference at -39. The Oilers should be highly motivated coming off a loss to the Coyotes and tonight’s game against the Sharks presents a great opportunity to get back in the win column.
One thing the Oilers have been great at this season is bouncing back from losses. On the year, they are 12-7 when coming off a regulation loss. I expect the Oilers to put forth a very good effort tonight. Head Coach Dave Tippett is going to the blender when it comes to his forward lines as well tonight. There are some interesting combinations and I broke them all down in the Oilersnation Pre Game Podcast (pres. by YEG Burger)!
