It’s Friday afternoon and that means a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio is here to help you finish off your week with an hour of all things Edmonton Oilers. On this week’s show, the first two games of the Oilers’ road trip, previewed tonight’s game against the Sabres, another round of Ask the Idiots, and a whole lot more.

To kick off this week’s podcast, we got started with a look at the Oilers’ current week and specifically the loss to Detroit on Tuesday night. While we all agreed that was probably Edmonton’s worst game of the season, we wondered whether the boys are still cursed when it comes to playing down to their competition. Seeing as the Sabres are on tap, we figured that this would be a big test game for the Oilers to show that they can beat the teams they’re supposed to, especially when they’re not playing well. From there, we took a quick break from the hockey talk with a reminder for the community that we’re trying to raise money for the Edmonton Humane Society at the upcoming viewing party on Nov. 27th. To help us get there, Tyler volunteered to wear a romper to the party if we can raise $1000 ahead of time, and as the Nation always does, citizens stepped up with their wallets already. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s podcast with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold performers to recap what was a very busy week here in Edmonton.
