Welcome, Nation friends and citizens, to Episode 4 of Oilersnation Radio! This week, we slide into the studio (read: office) to record this week’s podcast with the Oilers rolling through the pre-season on a three-game winning streak so there was plenty of Oilers related news to talk about.
To start off this week’s episode, we got things started by talking about the Oilers 3-0 start to the pre-season and whether or not we can actually be excited about it. Is it premature to get excited about the Oilers based on their pre-season record? How about Ty Rattie? The man has put up seven points in two pre-season games and is so hot that he legitimately has a chance or bursting into flames, but the question is whether or not he can keep it going.
From there the boys talked about Max Domi’s suspension and whether or not popping Aaron Ekblad in the bean should be considered a sucker punch or not. From there we get into the fact that McNuge is already rolling even though they only got into one pre-season game so far. If those two stick together all season, is it unreasonable to think they can get 70-80 goals between them? Lastly, we end off this week’s episode with the first ever edition of Cooom’s Trivia completely with hot sauce punishments from our friends at Get Sauced.
It was a jam-packed episode and arguably our best yet! Check it out:
