There was some actual Oilers news to talk about on this week’s episode of Oilersnation Radio.

Kicking off the podcast, we got started with a delicious debate about the Evan Bouchard contract that came down this past week, and whether or not it’s a fair deal for the team and player. While everyone on the podcast felt like the deal was exactly what we should have expected, that didn’t mean plenty of folks weren’t still upset about where this contract ended up. We also looked at the Auston Matthews contract that came down in Toronto and how that may affect our own two stars going forward. The Matthews contract led us to talk about the Connor McDavid interview at Sportsnet and whether we should be concerned or not about his answer pertaining to signing an extension. Lastly, we wrapped up the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio with another round of Ask the Idiots, and Hot and Cold performers.
