The Oilers playoff sadness has subsided and the boys were ready to talk hockey again, which means we’ve got plenty to talk about on the Friday episode of Oilersnation Radio.
To kick off the Friday episode of ONR, we got started with a delicious debate about the Oilers’ forward group and specifically who we think could be moving on. For some of the players, we think they’ll be moving along simply because of the salary cap, but for others, there could be a parting of ways to fish for potential upgrades. No matter what happens in terms of personnel, there’s little doubt that this will be an interesting offseason for the Edmonton Oilers. From there, we spent a few minutes discussing the second round of the playoffs and how it’s annoying to even be discussing the post-season with the Oilers out of the mix. Sticking with the offseason, we also discussed Frank Seravalli’s free agent list for the offseason and whether or not any of his top 10 players would be a realistic fit here in Edmonton. Lastly, we wrapped up the Friday episode of the podcast with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold performers to recap the week and get to the bottom of all things Edmonton Oilers.
