It was one year ago today that Connor McDavid scored six points in one game.
It feels like forever ago, but McDavidâs historic day was an incredible one, to say the least. He contributed on every Oilers goal as the club took down the visiting Colorado Avalance 6-2.
Down 1-0, McDavid contributed an assist to a Ryan Nugent-Hopkins goal at the 6:16 mark. He scored his first of three goals on the powerplay at the 12:14 mark before pitching an assist on Zack Kassian goal 28 second later.
McDavidâs second goal of the game came on the powerplay at the 15:51 mark, before opening the third period with his third powerplay goal of the game at the 8:32 mark.
His sixth and final point came at the 18:15 mark of the third as McDavid contributed an assist on another Nugent-Hopkins goal.
