A brand new week is underway and that means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a brand new episode to help you ease back into work life. On today’s show, the guys looked at Saturday’s comeback win over the Rangers, James Hamblin’s debut, and a whole lot more.
To kick off today’s podcast, the crew got started with a look at Saturday’s huge comeback win over the Rangers and how it was the kind of win that could potentially turn the season around. Is that too much to expect from one win? Did the boys’ opinion change after seeing the laundry list of injuries the team is dealing with right now? Changing gears, the conversation turned to coffee consumption and beer advent calendars, and how the Christmas season is the worst time of year if you’re planning to cut down on your vices. Somehow talking about coffee and beers led to the guys complaining about speeding tickets and road conditions around the city. Are any of the guys city planners? No, of course not, but that didn’t matter whatsoever. To wrap up the Monday episode of Real Life, the guys looked at the World Cup and how it was cool to see Canada get their first ever goal at the tournament despite losing to Croatia. As you’ll hear, however, Chalmers was anything but impressed and thinks we’re going too far in celebrating the silver linings.
