Real Life Podcast Episode 197 – Cider Wars and Betting on the Playoffs

Jul 16, 2020, 16:30 EDTUpdated: Jul 20, 2020, 15:20 EDT
Welcome, citizens, to a brand new Thursday episode of the Real Life Podcast to wrap up your week. On today’s show, the guys look at ciders, sports betting, the Masterton Trophy, and a whole lot more.
To kick off today’s podcast, the boys started the podcast with an argument about cider and whether or not a company should be able to offer multiple variations of cider. Some might suggest that this was a pointless way to start off a podcast, but the boys felt it was important to argue about it anyway. Getting back to hockey, the guys looked at sports betting leading into the playoffs and whether or not anyone is putting some money down on the Oilers to make a move. Somehow a conversation about betting on hockey turned into another argument about superstitions being real with some of the guys thinking they’re silly while others buy into the concept of juju. From there, the podcast took a weird turn as Baggedmilk wanted to know how much water everyone is drinking on a daily basis, leading Chalmers to confess that he starts most days with a Slurpee. Lastly, the boys wrapped up the Thursday episode of the podcast by looking at Oilers playoff hair, NFL rumours, and a whole lot more.
