A brand new week is underway, which means the boys from the Real Life Podcast are back with a brand new episode to help you ease back into work life after another round of practice retirement. On today’s show, the guys looked at Saturday’s BOA, overreactions at this point in the season, and a whole lot more.

To kick off the Monday episode of Real Life, the guys got started with a random conversation about the Swedish House Mafia and how they got back together for the paycheques. That led the guys to talk about artists performing at private events for all kinds of cash, and how crazy it must be to be at one of these small parties when Drake shows up. Getting back to sports, the guys then spent some time talking about soccer after both Wanye and Jay talked about wanting to be more involved in the sport leading up to Qatar. Leaning into the randomness, the boys then spent some time talking about an upcoming Jonah Hill movie that will see him profile the legendary golfer, John Daly. Can anyone picture Jonah Hill as John Daly? Getting back to Jay and Baggedmilk pressuring Tyler into coming to Calgary next weekend and where he’s at with selling his Arkells tickets. Turning back to the Oilers, the guys looked at Saturday’s snooze fest against the Blues and how Edmonton could not navigate the quicksand that is the St. Louis defence. Looking ahead at tonight’s McDavid vs. Crosby matchup, the Oilers will have a completely different test against the Penguins. Regardless of the result, everyone is betting that tonight’s game will be a whole lot more exciting than what we got on the weekend.
