Was just told Lavoie contract in Sweden isn’t complete yet. Talks still ongoing and hope is he gets deal, but not officially signed yet. #Oilers

Edmonton Oilers prospect Raphael Lavoie is set to turn pro and play in the Swedish Hockey League.
According to a report from Le Quotidien’s Dave Ainsley, Lavoie will take his talents to play for Rogle BK.
Lavoie, who has a late birthday, is eligible to play in the SHL over the QMJHL as he already played four years of junior hockey.
OilersNation’s Jason Gregor reported while the deal isn’t officially signed, there’s hope for it to be completed.
Lavoie, 19, split time last season between the Halifax Mooseheads and Chicoutimi Sagueneens where he scored 38 goals and 82 points in 55 games.
He finished the QMJHL season 5th in goals and 9th in points.
The Oilers inked Lavoie to an entry-level deal in March and I would imagine that once pro hockey resumes in North America next season, he would transition to the Bakersfield Condors.
