Risky Business: It Begins

Is there anything better than opening day of a new Edmonton Oilers season? No. That’s the answer. I’ve been buzzin’ all morning thinking about the season, and how I truly believe that our boys have a chance to make some noise. I know we’ve talked about the Oilers being contenders for years now, but I feel in my bones that the 2022-23 squad is the best possible chance that we’ve had in quite some time. And even though this first game of the year doesn’t mean a whole lot in the big picture, but I’m jacked up and ready to go so I’ll probably be betting a little bit heavier than I probably would on any other day.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for Risky Business all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down on night one against the Canucks:
Player Prop:
Leon Draisaitl to score 2+ points at 1.90. My $5 bet would pay out $9.54
Easy Money:
Connor McDavid any time goal at 1.95. My $5 bet would pay out $9.75.
Risky Business:
Evander Kane first goal scorer at 8.00. My $5 bet would pay out $40.
Can’t Miss Parlay:
Over 6.5 total goals and Leon Draisaitl to register 2+ points at 2.62. My $5 bet would pay out $13.12.
And there you have it. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I threw one unit down on each bet btw — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at for tonight’s game.
