Risky Business is brought to you by NHL betting site Betway!
On paper, tonight’s matchup with the Chicago Blackhawks is one that the Oilers should win. Even with all the injuries the boys are battling right now, there is no excuse to lose to the Blackhawks as they are literally one of the worst teams in the NHL. That said, I’ve also been an Oilers fan my entire life and I know how there are no lay-up games in this league, and I also know that we’ve had countless instances of the boys playing down to their competition. So what does that mean for my game day bets? Nervousness.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Blackhawks:
Player Prop:
Zach Hyman over 3.5 shots at +100. My $5 bet would return $10.00.
Easy Money:
First period result for Edmonton at +120. My $5 bet would return $11.00.
Risky Business:
Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl to both score at +275. My $5 bet would return $18.75.
Can’t Miss Parlay:
Edmonton over Chicago on the ML and Toronto over San Jose on the ML at +100. My $5 bet would return $10.00.
