Tyson Barrie couldn’t of found a better time to bring some offence.
His second and third goals came at an opportune time for the Edmonton Oilers Thursday afternoon helping lead his club to a 4-2 win over the Florida Panthers.
His first goal came 11:49 into the second period when he took a pass at the point from Ryan McLeod and unloaded a cannon into the back of the Cats net. He added another on the powerplay at the 6:53 mark of the third wiring one past Spencer Knight.
Warren Foegle, however, scored the game-winner in a big way. He was bumped up alongside Leon Draisaitl and Zach Hyman heading into the second and made the most of it. His sudden resurgence in a depth role could be a huge thing moving forward for these Edmonton Oilers.
Stuart Skinner was a star turning aside 40/42 shots en route to the win. Edmonton next plays Wednesday night against the LA Kings.
