Connor McDavid has done it again.
With a pair of points in Wednesday’s win over the Los Angeles Kings, McDavid has reached the 100-point plateau for the fifth time in his career. That’s pretty incredible, given the fact he’s only played seven seasons in the league, one of which was derailed by an injury and another was cut short due to the pandemic.
As Jason Gregor pointed out, McDavid is now one of 19 players in the history of the NHL to have five different 100-point seasons. At just 25 years old, McDavid has as many 100-point seasons as Jaromir Jagr, who sits second in All-Time NHL scoring.
There’s a very good chance that he could join Mario Lemieux and Wayne Gretzky as one of the three players ever to score 100 points in 10 different seasons.
We put together a quick video explaining just how impressive McDavid’s production has been over his young career and what we can look forward to in the future.
