Dylan Holloway’s hot start to his NCAA season got even hotter Saturday night as the recent Edmonton Oilers draftee scored a highlight-reel goal.
Holloway, who was taken by the Oilers 14th overall in Octobers draft, blasted home a powerplay goal against Notre Dame Friday night. While he let home a bomb of a wrist shot on that goal, his Saturday night tally took a little more finesse.
Playing against Notre Dame again, Holloway took a puck through the neutral zone, got past multiple defenders and circled the net before ripping a tight wrist shot into the top corner.
It was another great effort by Holloway as he showed off some incredible poise and prowess commanding space on the ice. The shot was beautifully placed, and helped launch the Wisconsin Badgers to a weekend series win over the Irish.
Holloway is now off to Red Deer for the start of the World Juniors camps for Team Canada.
