&#8220;Assume everything is good, haven&#8217;t heard any differently,&#8221; is what Vegas Golden Knights head coach Bruce Cassidy said about Mark Stone&#8217;s potential availability for game one Wednesday.
This comes after the Golden Knights&#8217; captain left practice early on Tuesday in discomfort. Video of Stone leaving the ice was shared on Twitter later that afternoon by FOX 5 Vegas&#8217; Vince Sapienza.

Stone was seen hunched over with his stick across his thighs towards the Golden Knights&#8217; bench. He slowly walked down behind the bench in clear discomfort.
It&#8217;s been a tough couple of seasons for Stone, who has had multiple surgeries on his back. In 2021-22, Stone missed 40 games due to a back injury that required surgery in May. This past year, however, <a href="https://oilersnation.com/news/nhl-notebook-calgary-flames-and-gm-brad-treliving-part-ways-boston-bruins-without-patrice-bergeron-in-game-one-and-more">Stone was out of Vegas&#8217; lineup from Jan. 12</a> through the remainder of the regular season as he underwent another back surgery, but <a href="https://oilersnation.com/news/nhl-notebook-edmonton-oilers-fall-one-spot-in-power-rankings-matvei-petrov-a-prospect-to-watch-and-more">returned for the playoffs</a>.
He did draw in for 43 games this season scoring 17 goals and 38 points and has made his presence felt in these playoffs.
