Are you passionate about making hockey videos? Do you like mashing up highlights into short works of art? We may have an opportunity for you.
If you’ve been a reader of this website for any length of time, you already know how much we love this hockey team and coming up with different ways of covering everything they do, and video is a big part of that. That’s why we’re looking for a videographer/editor/content creator that can help us make interesting videos that you won’t find anywhere else. We’re looking for someone that can work with our team on coming up with ways to cover the 2021-22 hockey season in a way that’s unique to Oilersnation. We’re talking memes, we’re talking interviews, we’re talking podcasts, and we’re talking hype videos… all of it and everything in between. If you’re creative, love hockey, and have video chops that can back up the vision then we could have a cool opportunity for you.
Since you’ve made it this far, you’re probably wondering what the gig is about and what it means for you. Basically, we’re looking to bring a motivated self-starter onto the team to create a variety of flavours of video content throughout the season and beyond. You’d be a part of events we throw, contribute to the site and social media, and help us work with partners on a variety of different projects. We’re trying to build something around here and the successful applicant will certainly be a big part of making that happen, so if that sounds like something that might make sense for you, hit me up with some of the original videos that you’ve made.
If you’re interested, email me some samples of your work to baggedmilk@oilersnation.com.
