The Edmonton Oilers desperately need a goaltender to come in and get their season back on track. Tyler Yaremchuk gave five names that have been in the rumour mill recently and he asked Mike McKenna for a scouting report on each one!

It has been an issue for the majority of this season and if it doesn’t get sorted out soon, then there is a chance that the Oilers might not make the playoffs. Getting a bonafide number one between the pipes should be at the top of Ken Holland’s shopping list as we head closer to the trade deadline.

Marc-Andre Fleury has been talked about all season, but he is far from the most realistic target for the Oilers and honestly, there will be plenty of teams calling the Chicago Blackhawks to try get their hands on the future Hall of Famer. The rest of the list includes a few veteran options, one player that McKenna described as a “project”, and one that could be the future number one that the Oilers have been searching for.
