I am back with another Youtube short video! Today, I took a look at a few assets that I think Oilers GM Ken Holland could use as trade bait ahead of the trade deadline. I’m no saying these players are 100% on the trade block or that the Oilers absolutely need to move these players, but if you’re wondering what pieces the team’s GM could include in a trade to improve the team right now. In fact, I’d be hesitant to move some of the pieces I listed here but as the saying goes, you have to give something to get something.

The team has some holes and it will cost a lot asset-wise to fill those spots and make this team a contender and Holland will have to make some tough decisions in the next few months. They need a goalie, they need scoring help, and they could use another left-handed defenseman. There is a lot on the shopping list, or at least there should be. I talked about some trade targets that I liked a few weeks ago in a video HERE! This is just sort of the natural follow-up to that video.
