Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off this week’s segment, we got started with Oilers’ slow starts and how their inability to be ready to play is basically sinking the ship before they’re even able to set sail. In all three of these losses on this streak, the Oilers have given up a goal in the opening minutes of the hockey game and it doesn’t take a rocket surgeon to figure out that’s a problem, so the team and coaching staff need to figure this out. From there, we looked at Cam Talbot’s night for the Wild and how he put in a very strong performance against his former club much to the chagrin of everyone watching. Not only did Talbot stand on his head for parts of the night, but Dmitri Kulikov also scored the calibre of goal that he probably won’t have again in his career. Why does this always happen against the Oilers? Because the former-Oiler curse is real, of course.
This to this week’s segment below:
