Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.

To kick off this week’s segment, we jumped in with a look at tonight’s game against the Nashville Predators and how the Oilers match up against an opponent they haven’t seen in quite some time. As you’ll hear in my answer, that’s a question that has no answer as we really won’t know what to expect from an Oilers vs Preds game until it actually happens. As much as I’d like to believe that our boys are unstoppable by any foe, the reality is that we can’t really put the cart before the horse here. From there, we took a look at the Oilers’ goaltending, which has been very strong for the club through eight games and whether or not that chances any of the Marc-Andre Fleury rumours that have started to pop up a little bit. Personally, I can’t see a trade like that happening since both Smith and Koskinen have played well,  but if the former can’t stay healthy then you never know what can happen.
