Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off this week’s appearance, we got started with a look at Connor McDavid’s points projections as he already seems to be playing on another level despite the season only being a week old. After hitting 105 points in only 56 games last season, I don’t think it’s unfair to wonder just how high this guy can fly, especially if the team is winning 6-5 pond hockey games as they did last night against the Ducks. Speaking of high scoring games, how could we not look at last night’s back-and-forth matchup against the Anaheim Ducks and wonder if we’re in line for more of these types of nights this season as questions remain around the defence and goaltending. And even though we’re only three games into a new campaign, Lochlin wanted to know whether I think the Oilers are already the best team in Canada or even the Pacific Division?
