Happy Wednesday, Internet friends, and welcome to yet another chapter of your ol’ pal Baggedmilk’s adventures in radio. As I do every week, I jumped on the air with the boys on The Locker Room for a quick segment to talk about the Oilers while also offering my takes on anything else that’s going on in the world.
To kick off this week’s appearance we jumped in with a quick look at the Pacific Division and specifically how many pundits and fans alike are predicting that Edmonton and Vegas will be battling for the top spot. As much as it’s nice to have high expectations, we all know what it’s like to believe the Oilers will hit certain markers during Kool-Aid season but what actually happens remains to be seen. Sticking with the new season, we also spent a few minutes talking about vaccine compliance and whether or not the NHL will be able to do a better job than some of the other major sports leagues. Even though I have no idea what the answer to the question was, I can’t help but wonder what kind of circus we’re in store for as fans start to pile back into arenas and stadiums around the continent. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s appearance with a look at the Olympics and how all of us are excited to have NHL players back in the tournament after being excluded in South Korea three years ago.
