Welcome, Nation, to yet another Thursday edition of Inside the Nation with Dustin Nielson. There is plenty to talk about in today’s episode as Dusty previews tonight’s game against the Jets, looks at the line combinations, and tries to figure out what life will be like without Oscar Klefbom.
To start off today’s broadcast, Dusty jumps right in with a look at the Oilers’ defensive group and what they’re going to need from them if the Oilers are going to win in Winnipeg. Will Hitchcock end up playing Nurse and Larsson over 30 minutes out of necessity? Will back-to-back games come into play? Looking at the forward group, how will Hitchcock deploy Tobias Rieder and Drake Caggiula now that they’re both healthy and back in the lineup. Needless to say, this run of injuries is going to be a huge test for the Oilers, especially considering they’re back in the mix for a playoff spot.
