Oilersnation Radio Episode 108 – NHL Free Agency Recap and the All-Canadian Division

It’s Friday afternoon and that means a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio is wrapped up, edited into an auditory masterpiece, and set to get you ready for the weekend. This week, we recapped the Oilers’ work in free agency, looked around the NHL at some of the best and worst deals handed out, and a whole lot more.

To kick off this week’s podcast, we got start with a look at Ken Holland’s work in free agency and whether or not he’s done making moves this offseason. With Turris, Ennis, Barrie, Puljujarvi, and Smith signed up for next year, is there a need for further adds or is realistic to think that this is what the team will look like for the start of the season? Seeing as there are so many available free agents left on the market that could be had for cheap, it will be interesting to see where a handful of players end up as the wait for jobs continues. From there, we looked at Tyson Barrie signing in Edmonton on a one-year deal and what that means for the defensive pairings for the upcoming season.
