It’s Friday afternoon and that means we’re hitting you with a brand new episode of Oilersnation Radio to help you finish off what’s left of your week with an hour of all things Edmonton Oilers. On today’s show, we looked at what Jay Woodcroft is doing right, players speaking candidly in the media, and a whole lot more.

Kicking off this week’s podcast, we jumped in with a look at what’s been going differently for the Edmonton Oilers since Jay Woodcroft has been behind the bench. From the way he’s delivering messages to his players to the way he speaks to the media to the systems he’s putting in place, all of us feel as though it’s a new day for this hockey team and it’s been a lot of fun to watch. Yet, even though the vibes are strong around this team right now, we did acknowledge that there are still some issues that need to get sorted out, specifically the special teams that have struggled over the past month or so. Lastly, we wrapped up this week’s podcast with another round of Ask the Idiots and Hot and Cold performers to recap what was a very busy week here in Edmonton.
