Risky Business is brought to you by NHL Lines site Betway!
Last week, the Oilers played Seattle for the first time and absolutely ran the show, ending the evening with a lopsided 7-2 win. Not only was it a good time to watch them put a touchdown up on the scoreboard, but it was also a huge divisional win that gave the boys some much-needed points and confidence. Whether or not the boys can carry those good vibes into tonight’s rematch is what I’m most eager to see. What I want to know is if the Oilers can serve up another dose of ass-kickery on a team they need to beat, or if Seattle is going to roll into town with a chip on their shoulder and looking for payback.
If you’re following along at home, the odds I’ll be using for my game day betting articles all season come from Betway. Here’s what I’m putting down against the Kraken:

Player Prop:

Zach Hyman to register a power play point at +105. My $5 bet would return $10.25.

Easy Money:

Over 1.5 total power play goals at -110. My $5 bet would return $9.54.

Risky Business:

Connor McDavid and Zach Hyman both to score at +300. My $5 bet would return $20.00.

Can’t Miss Parlay:

Edmonton over Seattle on the money line, Florida over Arizona on the money line, and Tampa Bay over Chicago on the money line at 2.70. My $5 bet would return $13.52.

Losing to the Winnipeg Jets was annoying because it wasn’t like the Oilers played poorly but rather because Connor Hellebuyck stood on his head again. Way she goes sometimes, ya know?
  • Ryan Nugent-Hopkins to register 1+ power play point at -105.
  • Over 1.5 total power play goals at -125.
  • Oilers on the money line and over 5.5 total goals at +162.
  • Tampa Bay over Arizona on the money line, Washington over Montreal on the money line, and Dallas over San Jose on the money line at 2.54. ✅
And there you have it, friends. Now that you know what I’m betting on — I’ll be throwing one unit down on each bet, for the record — feel free to hit me up in the comments section to let me know what you’re looking at against the Kraken.
