The Sherwood Ford Giant Pre Game Show – Game 40 @ Montreal Canadiens

It’s a special edition of The Sherwood Ford Giant Pre Game Show! Myself and Caroline were LIVE at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge for today’s show! We started things off by recapping the Oilers’ win over the Nashville Predators and what’s impressed us the most about their three-game winning streak. At that point, we were interrupted by Jay and Chalmers who talked about our Oilersnation team’s impressive 2-0 start at the Tourism Jasper pond hockey tournament!

Eventually, we got things back on the rails and dug into tonight’s matchup against the Montreal Canadiens. The Habs are struggling through a terrible season. Not only are they dead last in the NHL, but they have just one win in their last ten games and have dropped four in a row. This is one that the Oilers shouldn’t drop. Tonight will also be the Oilers debut of Evander Kane, who will play on the team’s top line with Connor McDavid. We went through the rest of the expected lines for both sides tonight.
