Another Wednesday in lockdown is here, and that meant another opportunity for your ol’ pal Baggedmilk to jump on the radio with the boys at The Locker Room to talk about what’s going on in the NHL and life while also trying to have a few laughs at the same time.
To kick off this week’s appearance, we jumped in with a look at Edmonton being considered as a host city for the NHL provided that the league is able to safely resume play. And since our city has done a reasonable job with COVID-19 and the infrastructure in place, it’s easy to understand why we’d be considered a potential destination. Along those lines, I was asked about which player I’d like to billet in my house if the NHL came calling so I walked through my thinking for picking the perfect quarantine roommate and offered up a name that I think would work out nicely. Lastly, the conversation turned towards whether or not we’re feeling excited about being able to watch sports again so I talked about watching some Korean baseball the other day just to scratch the itch. Needless to say, I think people will be looking forward to watching games whenever they’re able to come back.
